No pictures just yet, but I got the Avatar 18w with 6v6's and holy **** I have never been happier.
First off, I hated playing my Dark Terror cuz it had really buzzy mids and highs.
I also had a Blackstar 60w 2x12 combo and hated it for the same reason.
The Avatar has a really nice creamy breakup; it sounds so damn good. No buzz, no ****ty drive, really nice and sensitive to picking, and ringing harmonics. Sounds killer and huge with a tube screamer up front.
I also play with a TC Hall of Fame, and the Digitech Time Bender for delay and other effects, and it's all very clear.
There is no loop, but it doesn't need one.
At practice I play it thru a closed 2x12 (V30, G12H30) and I recently bought a closed 2x10 with Greenbacks.
Bought the 2x10 for gigging and just more cut during practice.
Anyways, seriously this is the sound I have been searching for and don't plan on getting another amp anytime soon, unless it's for high gain.
Will post pictures and recordings soon!
