NGD: American Standard Strat!

Re: NGD: American Standard Strat!

Not really on that front, but he said when his friend gets it to him, he'll send it out when he can

Well that story changed faster.
So it has gone from he is sending it right NOW to sending it after he gets it back from a friend? haha i love this.

Just tell the guy to get ****ed and get on with your real friends.

Re: NGD: American Standard Strat!

Sorry you got burned dude. Like others have said, if you ever get rid of this guitar strip the logo/ serial off.

glad it plays well though, and can't wait to see that '71....

I just got burned on the deal of the '71. Previous owner was being a dick by saying I should train like him in order to receive said guitar, and he was talking literal military training. Guy seemed deranged like that. So i'm not getting the guitar unless he has a change of heart.

Re: NGD: American Standard Strat!

Where did the Music Zoo come in, I thought they were a legit dealer of mostly high end stuff. Or, am I missing some sarcasm somewhere?
They are selling a strat of the same serial, pointing to Nathan's being faked.

Ya no ****. Kramersteen...?

Re: NGD: American Standard Strat!

Or it might have been a MIM neck on a Squier body.

Re: NGD: American Standard Strat!

The wood grain on the headstock looks like stuff I've seen from Squiers or Chinese knockoffs...not the type of Maple grain I've ever seen on an American Standard.

Re: NGD: American Standard Strat!

Personally, I think a white Strat should never have a straight-up white pickguard.

Re: NGD: American Standard Strat!

It is a Stratocaster, it was probably made in the USA by someone who put it together from various components. If it plays and sounds as good as the owner says then this builder probably took time and care putting it together. It could be that more skill and care was invested in it than Fender puts into one of it's $2,000 quadruple marked up guitars. It may not have the pedigree to command a high resale value but if it was bought to play, not as investment or show piece then $250 could very well be a bargin.

Re: NGD: American Standard Strat!

Very accurate. He's a severe autistic, and he thinks of himself as a character called the Nightbane from World of Warcraft. He's 40 something and he needs help

Nightbane has no use for a strat but he could use the money.
