And it is something that most simulators can't replicate well.I love how the Leslie ramps up the speed (or down) when you click the switch. Almost brings tear to my eyes.
That would be cool if it were much smaller.thats one of the reasons i really like the h&k rotosphere, the ramp time is really nice. the break control is also sweet
Is there something that requires it to actually be that size, like something mechanical?yeah, its not small for sure. i dont keep it on a board any more because of that. it has its own little bag with a 18" cable and power supply
Sounds like it is time for a reissue, or some clones to come out.hahaha, no. just the big metal box with a wallwart power supply
I've seen him several times. He did that the first time I way him, in Philly in '87. Too bad Ritchie didn't feel like playing that night- he was off the stage most of the night, and when he stepped back onstage, he'd just stand in front of his amp with one note feeding back most of the time.Jon Lord wish I coulda seen him. I seen 70s footage with him rocking the fucking B3 back and forth(front to back) while wailing on that thing.Pretty impressive.

Was Blackmore still using the Dawk modded Marshall Majors in 1987?I've seen him several times. He did that the first time I way him, in Philly in '87. It was the white ones he used in the last days of Rainbow through the DP reunion shows. I couldn't tell if they were the Majors from where I was. His tone was great, I just think he didn't want to be there and was pissed off most of the night. Was Blackmore still using the Dawk modded Marshall Majors in 1987?
Jon Lord's best playing (that I saw) was at a Purpendicular show ('96), the first tour with Steve Morse. Steve pushed him a lot, and he played lots of notes that night (at the House of Blues, Orlando). In a way I envy you to have seen one of *those* shows.
seems like he had a lot of those nights :/I just think he didn't want to be there and was pissed off most of the night.
Especially between 84-88. Live recordings at the time prove it.seems like he had a lot of those nights :/
