This is a well-documented phenomenon and the primary reason Green amps sound better than other ones.
Nah, breaking in a speaker doesn't wildly change its character.Yes the "1936V" has that G12T75 scooped sound. Mislabeled speaker....interesting and most plausible.
Could it be break in discrepancy? Maybe the jube cab was more broken in?
You capitalized Green, which is a brand.

That's not what we're talking about here, though.
I could guarantee that the speakers in the 1936V cab are labeled wrong. They have all the characteristics of the G12T-75s that make me want to use cabs carrying them as kindling.
Really? Are these specs on the Marshall site? For that relatively low wattage I doubt it makes that kind of difference.cables
one had a small 18 gauge cable
the other had a 12
Good call!If they were t75 the cab would be a few pounds lighter than the v30 cab.
Maybe cl80,,,,,,,,,,they do sound scooped compared to v30, and would result in equal cab weights.
Yes, but my Green Matamps also sound better than my Orange Matamps. Explain THAT, "Mister" ScienTIST.
:haha: are you trolling :?: or joking?cables
