There she goes out-metaling me again.

Yup got some space invader inlay stickers from Jockomo and some bobbins toppers from UniversalJems. (the neck ones didn't fit perfectly though :/ ) I was gonna wait with the toppers until I got new pups but I figured they're cheap enough... I can just do it again in a couple weeks.

But yeah. Now you can tell it's mine. :D

I think its stupid, but its also the kind of crap that you have to be young to appreciate, and I dont even begin remember what it is to be young anymore. Not that I dont do stupid things now, because of course I do. The Small daughter unit is absolutely adorable though.

OH.

Almost forgot to mention that those inlay stickers are nowhere near as easy to put on as they say. I couldn't get those ****ers to stick to save my life. Had to clamp each of em with a washcloth for hours to get the final result.

So yeah. Beware of any "Oh it's so easy." crap. Proooobably didn't make it easier that the space invader ones have little tiny blocks that aren't attached. Mind numbing aggravation I tell ya.

I've always wondered if the inlay stickers were easy to work with. Now I know! Normally this sorta thing is not for me... But I dig it cause it's totally your style. I have an appreciation for people who do things their way because that's their style. Don't ever change, bro!

BTW... Is your axe neck-heavy? You know, does it do a headstock dive?

And, as was previously mentioned, your kid is very cute. And very metal! ROCK LIVES ON!!!

No actually! It's pretty nicely balanced. I thought for a minute it might be a little neck heavy but when I strapped it on (hur hur) it was perfect.

Looks cool. I wanted to get one of those Jockomo, but backed out thinking they may actually hinder playing. Glad to get a feed back on they are not so easy to install.

It's occasions like this where I think they need to make switch tips that look like this:

Maybe just a standard tip in red would do it? Am I over the top? I'm the guy with the Psychedelic Orange/Pink/Green/Yellow Strat, so I guess I don't know where to stop.

Or leave it just as it is. It's pretty cool as is. :bigthumb:
