I'm not a fan of PRS guitars. But.... wow.... that one looks good! And 24 frets (I've never seen a PRS with 24)?! I'm impressed!

Thanks man. I like it a lot, specially the fact that the top isn't to crazy, but has some character. I got her cheap also, so I can't complain.

Also, PRS launched because of 24 fret models. Their best seller, the Custom 24, is a killer 24 fret guitar, that is basically the exact same thing as mine, except with a set mahogany neck.

Ok, I'll be honest and say it was close but my Gibson Custom was THE one, alas it was stolen. I have to accept that the chances of getting it back are very slim if none existant. So my number one now is my Wayne, it's a real player just begging to be jammed and gigged. I had a few teething problems with tuning stability but that all seems to be sorted now.... he comes out of the case still in tune, do some crazy dives and put him away still in tune. Yes it's way different to the Custom but in a way I'm glad... one day I'll get another '57 R.I Custom or Gold top. so, here's the Wayne....

Excuse the noisy cell phone camera picture. This is right after I swapped out the black pickguard for a white one, and the pickups from a JD/Vintage Rhythm to a Quarter Pound set, with the neck pickup being the RWRP Strat Quarter Pound.

Here are some LONG overdue shots of The Strat (a.k.a. my Eternal Mistress ) with the new SD StraBro90s and the broken tone knob FINALLY replaced:

(the "artifacts" on the pickguard are actually a play of the light on the countless scuffs and scratches. I thought it looked kinda cool :9


Also, for the very first time, here's the first ever GROUP SHOT!!!

From left to right (and ironically from newest to oldest in my stable) are:
1995 Washburn MG-100, 1994 Washburn MG-122, a HEAVILY modified 2007 Swing EZ-10 and the above (and also heavily modified) 2000 MiM (once Std) Fender Stratocaster.


Also, in the next weeks or so I expect to finally also pay for the Michael Kelly Patriot Limited I have on layaway (sorry, newer shots once she's in my hands):

Couple of new "body shots" of my Gunslinger/Assassin...and yes...it does have a "Power Puff Girls" Sticker on the back...a gift from my now 14 y/o daughter when she was very young! :lol :lol :lol
