The H90 Harmonizer Thread

An H90 into a Sansamp is basically everything you could need.

In fact I used that exact set up 2 weeks ago in Ashville NC at a gig for an acoustic. However -I dont have the Acoustice fly rig with a built in compressor -so I had to burn an H90 channel for compressor (my fly rig is the regular one) -ideally Id use the acoustice sansamp flyrig version in the future to preserve both channels in H90

I have to say that the Acoustic Fly Rig is a great pedal, and I can imagine that into an H90 would be a great portable rig.

nice, lemme know next time youre playing and ill let my friends know. ive staggered out of those clubs more than a handful of times

Any of you guys come up with any good fx combos for ambient bass?

I have never run the bass through mine, but many ambient presets will give you a great jumping-off point. The one thing I would suggest, and I bet Neg will agree is - going from the H9 to the H90 you are more accustomed to the algorithms on their own. In the H90, you are hearing two algorithms at a time. Toggle between them so you can hear the nuances of each algorithm on its own. I have built a bunch of presets with two algorithms but 75% of the time I am only using one.

Yeah, I was planning on using one side as a compressor, just because I have yet to find a decent bass compressor. Currently I've been using an Ibanez unit built for guitar and you can tell that it weighs the low frequencies heavier than the high ones.

H90 arrived today. I'm gonna fire it up when I get home, and maybe take tomorrow off so I can have a few presets made up before jam night tommorow.

Prepare to have your life changed -also be sure to play with the Routing into other pedals -like putting a drive insert in the first preset position. Like a Bradshaw system

It's a pretty slick unit for sure from my fiddling with it. A lot of gimmicky sounds to play around with too. I haven't completely broken it in yet, but I like the controls. They are set up almost identical to the Johnson Millennium amp I've been using for a while.

Once I figure out the app, then I predict things will get rolling with this.

Sheesh, this pedal has a lot of stuff hidden in it! The compressor section of the EQ Compressor is very neat, The one knob compressor is designed near flawlessly. I did just find out however that the Dynaverb has an Omnipressor model tucked away in there, and let me tell you, that thing is phenomenal. Haven't tried the "reverse dynamic" thing yet, but I can see some cool applications for it.

You can definitely get lost in that pedal. It is the only pedal that comes off my board after practice because I am still fiddling with it and need to bring it home to dive in deeper.

I was just thinking the same thing. I just spent 45 minutes figuring out how I wanted to setup a preset so that I could make my HB guitars sound like a Tele into a compressor into stacked tubescreamers.

Which brings me to one complaint. I figured out how to set a hotswitch to turn the second tubescreamer on and off, but there isn't a way to turn the first one off without turning the second one off too. This functionality could be added with almost 0 coding.

You can do that if you put the pedal in performance mode.
