Confusing since it says "the only spec decided so far is a 10k humbucker" ....but it does appear to have the specs listed below...I guess...

well, how difficult is it to remove the cover from a fully potted pickup?
I don;t know if i;m gonna want to mess with that...

10 minute with a dremel tool to deal with the solder. The potting really is of no consequence in removing the cover. Takes few minutes to clean up the wax but all told at worst its a 20 minute operation.

The specs says that it's going to double cream with logo.... is there such thing? I just knew about the white pups with black logo but in case there is....is it a Black logo then or gray or something?

Also, I'm might want to age the nickel cover to make it look like a antiquity... After removing the cover, will I at all be able to put it back on. Doesn't sound like that when you guys talk about using a dremel tool? :sad:

yes, you can put a cover back on after removing it...some guys use a dremel tool to cut through the solder...

You can also use a soldeing iron to remove the solder from the point where it is attached to hold cover & bucker together if you don't want to use a dremel...
Btw Scott anything new about the shipping and payment for Europe guys?

If it's a hassle to remove a pickup cover, why don't you get one and keep it, and then one day when it's not a "hassle" you won't be kicking yourself for not getting one. Get two--one to use and one to put away. You'll thank me in 20 years and bro, those 20 years come faster than you can imagine.

yeah... i think i may have to get one...
even though i hate covered pickups and don;t have any guitars that would look nice with cream pickups... oh well...

Still, what about the name of the bucker... "Peacemaker", "The 10" etc. Don't you guys think that we should decide a name for it? With a poll maybe.

I think it sounds to "modern" with just "X", since it's a classic PAF, that's overwound. But that's me...
I like "Peacemaker" the most but I have nothing against "The 10" either. WE NEED A POLL! :laugh2:
