Do you make any modifications to any of the equipment? Do you toss or add any equipment? What's your signal path?
In short, given what you've got, what do you do to achieve your ultimate rig?
(I know, huge questions. Something to keep you busy during downtime.)

P.S. Don't say "It depends on what kind of sound you're going after." I want to know what you would do with it if this were your rig.
Now get crackin', guitar heroes!
Low_fidelity2100 said:I'de Toss The LesPaul, or actually sell it and use that money to Buy parts to Modify the telecaster. An sell the Strat an use that money to Buy parts to Mod the Es-333.
Mods to tele would be...Replace Bridge pickup with Duncan Vintage Stack, and neck Pickup with a Mini-bucker of some sort.Replace Toggle switch with 3way and wire it normally. Replace Bridge with a 3 brass saddle Compensated vintage style tele bridge. Change tuners To Sprezel Locking tuners. Replace output cup with an electro socket. Install Dunlop strap locks. Nut Replaced with Bone. Neck Shimmed for a slight angle (with Playing cards).
Mods to 333 would be...Replace Pickups with a Set of Duncan 59's Nickle covered. Replace Pots with 250k cts pots, with .047 caps on the tone controls. Replace Knobs with Chrome Barrel knobs like used on telecasters. Get an es335 style pickgaurd (cause the 333's I've seen ahven't have pg's), color would depend on color of the guitar. Replace Tuners with Chrome nickle grovers. Install dunlop strap locks. Nut Replaced with Bone.
I'de also sell All of the Mesa Crap. Cause I have No use for it.
Also Sell/give away Almost all of those pedals, and ALL of the rack gear. I have no use for that much stuff. So I'de most likely just give it to someone who would actually use it.
I'de use the money made from selling the mesa Crap to buy the following Pedals...ds-1 (no need to mod it for my use), A Russian Big Muff and an Usa Big Muff, EH Poly Chorus, Some sort of delay pedal (not sure what I'de like really), MXR Graphic eq, And a Boss Tremolo pedal.
Signal Chain would be as follows....
Clean sounds...Guitar (neck or middle possition)>Poly Chorus (set for low speed High depth chorus but not always on)>Delay (set for a slap back with Very low mix level)>Tremolo> Super reverb amp
Dirty sounds....Guitar (bridge for rhythm, middle possition for leads)>ds-1 (Level Maxed, Tone on 0, distortion on 0, used as lead boost)>Russian Big muff (Level 3-4 o'clock, tone 12 o'clock, gain maxed out)> USA Big Muff (Level 3-4 o'clock, Tone 3 o'clock, Gain 12 o'clock)> Eq (set for mid boost)> Chorus (same settings as clean, only used for leads)>A/b/y pedal (for switching between amps)> Super Reverb Amp AND/OR Ac-30
Only one big muff would ever be on at once, Ds-1 only used as a lead boost. And ac-30 only used as a lead amp, either alone, or with super reverb amp. All Pedals would be run on batterys, cause I hate adapters. Cords would Most likely be Quite long (20ft) From pedals to the amps, But short (10 ft) Between The guitar and the pedals. No Pedal Board (I like them on the floor and messy). Straps would be cheap nylon ones. Strings would be Ernie ball Slinky top Heavy Bottom for the tele, and Power slinkys for the 333. Tele would be used for Open D, Open G, and Dropped D. ES-333 would be Standard tuneing. Amp Settings would depend on Venue, or recording situations. Guitars would have Coins Glued to them, and Stuff writen on them with sharpie (no stickers though).
I think that about covers it.
