into a Crybaby, a Bad Monkey, a DS-1, then a Double Muff

into the Bass channel on my 68 Fender Bassman head, which I then jumped into the 300 watt Peavey 1x15 bass combo, which had a 'signal out' for bi-amping with adjustable EQ which allowed me to send all of the mids and highs into the Normal channel of my Fender Bassman, which was of course pushing the Sunn 4x12 and the Behringer 4x12.

An import Schecter and a Crate.

Previous to that, a Squier Strat... and a Crate.

Marshall JCM800 thru mesa/boogie 4X12
Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite (still got it ;)
Gibson Faded V
And a few other random axes.

Used a marshall Guv'nor in the early late teens for grit, and then a keeley-modded DS-1 in the later teen years. Eventually upgraded to a Krank revolution in the late-late teen years.

In my late teens I had:
- Gibson Explorer (stock at the time), it's now my heavily modded #1
- Marshall MG30 amp (still have it; use it with a POD as my 'C' rig)
- A cheap crappy cable

I discovered Seymour Duncans at 20 (JB/59) and scored a Marshall Jubilee head for $550 at 21. The rest is history.

1966 Gretsch Tennessean, which I picked up for $250 in 1979. (In '82 I sold it while I lived in Japan for $1300-funny they were giving Gretsches and Ricks away before 1980, everyone wanted a Strat or a Les Paul.

Plugged into one of these...

another cheap score 'cause it wasn't a Marshall.

i'm barely out of my late teens and my gear has only had drastic changes in the past year or so, mainly the addition of what is now my main guitar (sg custom prophecy EX) and my first "big boy amp" (Kustom 36 watt coupe 1x12). thats really all i consider worth mentioning unless you count my EH pedals and my various other guitars (cheapies and gifts and freebies)

Custom tele (bought second hand)

I still have all the guitars, but the amps had to go

In my late teens I had one of those horrible silver 25th Anniversary Stratocasters, a '76 Marshall JMP 50w MkII head and 2x12 cab, and an original Ibanez TS-808 Tubescreamer. By my very late teens, I bought the '68 Strat that I still use, and added an Ibanez UE 405 analog multi fx box, and then later a Yamaha 1005 analog delay. A few of those things I wish I still had...not the 25th Anniversary Strat though, it was a dog.

A Jackson DK2 with a JB in the bridge into a Boss GT3 into a Laney TF300.

I still have them. The Jackson's an ok guitar, sounds good and plays good too. The GT3 I can't get a good sound out of. The Laney's amplifier is broken and I only use the combo shell anymore.

A Rok Axe practice amp and Samick strat copy.
Later sold the Samick and will sell the practice amp.
A bit later on, I got my Brian Moore Guitars I12000, which is going to be sold soon since I don't play 6 strings anymore.

Let see... I played on a Charvel Jackson with active pickups and a Yamaha 100 watt amp. Also had an Ibanez SoundTank Distortion. Used a Vox solid state for a while too.

I had a garbage amp. In fact it wasn't even realy an amp. It was a speaker in a box with some kinda rack mount amp velcroed to the top.

My guitars were kinda crap too. I had a Platinum seris BC Rich Warlock and a Kramer copy of a Randy Rhoads V. THe end of my Junior year in high school I got an American Series BC Rich Gunslinger and over the summer before senior years I bought an American Series Warlock Neck Thru.

After graduation I bought a SS Laney 2x12 combo. I have no idea what model it was. My buddy had a Laney Half Stack so I bought the combo. Sometime before I was 19 I bought a 60w SS Crate half stack. I had that thing for YEARS. Ten year probably. The longest I've ever owned any piece of equipment. In 2003 I tested a few other amps and finally settled on my Mesa Dual Recto. That Crate served me well even if it wasn't the best of amps.

Sometime in the next year I bought a Washburn N4. That was a great guitar. Had a couple other junky guitars like a Jap made Jackson Dinky and a Washburn Steve Stevens model.

I really had no idea what I was doing with guitars back then. I just bought what I could afford. Although I really did love that Gunlsinger and regret ever having sold it.
