I prefer to play mostly Blues, Rock, Southern Rock but venture into the realm of metal and country to from time to time.

Clicked the "blues" as it is about the root of music and I couldn't split the vote as "classic rock" A.K.A. Rolling Stones/Led Zeppelin are based on the fine tradition of pouring out your soul in song.
From a poor white Irish heritage that either got a "free ticket to Australia", with a 25lb anklet or escaping persecution of whatever form, the family don't talk about it. I think I have as good as connection as anyone, be they Black Americans or Marsh Arabs from Southern Iran. World Music Rules!

"other" = punk. Not this new screamo shee-ite or the happy go luck pop stuff. My band writes and plays 70's era punk, ala the Clash, Ramones. Then we throw in a little Rolling Stones and Devo influence.

I'm known in my circle (THE GARAGE) as that loud f*cker that needs to be locked up!!!!
In general, I play classic rock (60s & 70s), but I actually play a little of everything.
I was gonna say blues because it's my favorite genre, but I realized it's the blues based rock of the 60s & 70s that I really love.
I'm surprised to see the overwhelming edge going to metal though. I've been around here long enough to be under the impression that you people have good taste!!!! :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :burnout:
