well, I'll probably take some heat on this but I've turned to the dark side!!! I'm using a vox tonelabSE and a pair of Atomic Reactor 112's, the vox models class A and A/B amps using a 12ax7 to replicate the amp models and the Reactors are 18 watt A/B tube amps using a single 12AX7 and a pair of EL84's - I'm programming some great tones out of this machine - plus the wah pedal (does both a classic 847 and a mccoy) sounds bitchen, and I can adjust the sweet spot to my guitar!!! In stereo the chorus, phasing, flange, univibe effects are primo. I'm having a blast!

Ive been talking to a few people who have recently bought the Jsx from peavey and everyone loves it and has stated that its the sound they have been searching for for years. i voted marshall simply because my first decent amp was a Marshall avt150 and after all the years ive had it i still love it and still play it everyday, it never seizes to impress me with its tone and really high quality effects. if i was going to buy a cheap practice amp then i would set asside the line6 modelling amps and the superior vox modeling amps id walk past a marshall and id buy a Laney LC15R because these amps sound a lot more expensive and they are, loud as hell with that lovely Marshall/Laney valve tone simply the best budget amps you can buy.
