Why Aren't there More Female Guitar Players, Especially Electric?

Re: Why Aren't there More Female Guitar Players, Especially Electric?

Exactly. I'm just as tired of seeing walls of deleted posts insulting DreX as I am tired of constant thread derailments. My two complaints are very closely related. I'm not sympathizing with DreX though.

If someone's really tired of ANY user, don't reply to them, and let them talk to their self. They'll leave you alone then.

I disagree. I took a break from this place for more than six months and only came back because he referred to me BY NAME in an attempt to defer blame.

He's a coward and leaving hime alone won't make him go away. He'll just post another "pickup giveaway" to win his way back into the weak minds of a few of us.

Re: Why Aren't there More Female Guitar Players, Especially Electric?

He should have gave the pickups to our ring leader GoldenVulture.

Re: Why Aren't there More Female Guitar Players, Especially Electric?

The amount of attention drawn to this single thread is staggering. I have to give a hand to Mr. Evan Skopp, and whoever else is in charge of PR on this forum. They really do know what they are doing. They came up with a controversial topic that brings more attention than a Gibson vs Fender thread, to this forum.

It looks like the UIG, Drex and few more made this a bigger deal than it really should be. " Just look at the amount of posts that have been made in such and short time. The mass populous will barely make it past the first page, much less see the **** storm that unfolded later."

SD should thank the trolls. Look at the attention they brought to this thread and topic.

But, they already knew that would happen, didn't they?

Re: Why Aren't there More Female Guitar Players, Especially Electric?

I'm not much of a troll but I'm honored to be on the ignore list of one.

Re: Why Aren't there More Female Guitar Players, Especially Electric?

So much for my feeble attempts at getting back to the topic the OP intended instead of ignore lists.

BTW, a lot of the guys on your list DreX really know their stuff. You're missing out on good information on a lot of topics.

I'll post this again, because my post, while not a very good of one - it was at least on topic, was overshadowed by a domino effect of off topic posts:

I'd really like to see a female cover band of Type O Negative. I think it'd be hilarious, entertaining, and really damn cool all at the same time. They just might have to sing a few octaves higher haha.

Re: Why Aren't there More Female Guitar Players, Especially Electric?

This is what my ignore list looks like, a bunch of guys who just happen to like to also hang out at TMRZoo.com forums, but I'm sure that has nothing to do with why we don't seem to get along:

Agileguy_101 beaubrummels Big Flannel CTN darthphineas dominus Dr. Vegetable ExplorersRock formula73 Funkfingers GoldenVulture jon the art guy kramersteen LesStrat LReese Myaccount876 Oinkus Securb SnakeAces

I hope I am not in your black list so you can read this.

I checked out that monkey business forum once. I was appalled to find most of the people there are those frequenting this forum. Very familiar names.

It seems like the company running that site has been having a hard time maintaining it alive and kicking. So, the admin took advantage of his connections at SDUGF and lured them (those guys you mentioned above) to make it look like the TMRzoo is actually a place you want to be.

I am not surprised if nobody visits the site. It definitely attempts to try to be everything to everybody.

Entertainment site for men? What?! If I want entertainment online I would download some porn or go to YouTube or Premier Guitar (for those mesmerizing Rig Rundown series). That site definitely lacks focus.

I don't know how Li Jie slipped my mind until page 20 of this awful thread, but I present to you, my guitar hero:

You, sir, have my attention.
