I've gotta say that while I've never been "wowed" by strats really, Fender has some kick ass colors.

Daphne Blue
Sonic Blue
Seafoam Green
Shell pink
Shoreline gold
Sky blue
Surf Green
Their orange color
Olympic white
White blonde (on a tele of course)
And they also had a redish-orange color too.

Their finishese are pretty good.

My 3 favorites:
Natural (ash or alder)
Vintage cherry burst with white pickguards
Cream

and:
Trans-green
Black with a black pickguard and a maple neck looks classy


Huge headstocks make everything look better.

I hate painted guitars. I always feel like they're hiding something under there. 6 piece bodies, big knots, pancakes, etc... My motto is "If you can't see the wood, it ain't as good." My guitars are bursts, clear coated, or stained. If you can see the wood, you truly have a one of a kind guitar, as no wood grain is the same. Painted guitars all look the same.

Quilted Maple tops in Red and Blue dye. [Not together!]

I happen to think Grafitti Yellow is right up there with the cool Stratocaster colors.....I wouldn't change it!

the thing is when i reshoot it i dunno how it will look years later when it starts to relic itself...because thrashed bursts look cool but the beauty of that thing is to me when it looks aged but without a scratch. If I keep it graffiti i'll probably reshoot it in nitro but ill have to take real good care of that thing...i already do but i still hit her against everything if im not paying attention...

If you ignore the guitar shape and turn the middle to a true orange, I think this would be pretty cool on a strat. Make the edges a more intense red and intense orange in the middle.
