I guess it's time to pack up. I'm movin to Denmark fellas!!
6+ big ones for a guitar is retarded! Any more than $1500-$1800 you are just paying for a name and hype usually.
Get an Edwards and get a better quality guitar for a whole lot less money!
Is there anyone in Denmark or in that area that can stop by and biatch slap some sense into him?
Rid, can you please help?
I've read the specs on the Gibson website. It has nothing that makes it better then other Les Pauls that cost 5th the price.
A 3 piece maple neck - WTF? that's Ibanez specs... you're not buying a Les Paul here.
If you would consult with LP experts here they would tell you it's not the best guitar you can buy, no matter what the price is.
That's because it copies the specs of the JS LesPaul that was made in '78. Back then they were like that. That's why I suggest buying a real '78 Les Paul that costs $2000 and modding it.
I already have black leather.... Black shirt.. I only need the long hair and the Les Paul, and my looks are done![]()

I'm not gonna lecture ya bro. Do what you will, life is a big learning experience.
I do hafta say this...if you DONT like it: This guitar will NOT have the resale value or collectibility of various other historic type or custom shop models you think it will. Artist sig models, barring the Rossington and Pagey models just dont command the $ (and they do because they are basically copies of two extremely famous bursts, not a norlin maple neck).
FWIW, Nov 20th is a good day for guitar related things: Rid, Myself, and Duane Allman were born on that day, LOL so we can send some good guitar mojo your way :bigthumb:
Man like i said do what you will, just make sure your ready for the responsibilty. Please (I think I speak for all of us here) let us know when you get it and post a review, I want to see if a $6,500 is really worth $6,500.
