Once upon a time, somebody PM'ed you to suggest buying a couple of pre-owned Fender Am Std Strats with either a HSH or a "swimming pool" pickup cavity rout and to put together multiple, interchangable pickguard and control assemblies to suit your needs. That suggestion would have saved a vast amount of time, money and dithering. Silly, silly idea. :banghead:

I love you man. You're a great help and you've contributed to almost every thread I've posted on the forum for a great while.

and your idea is a great one: if i ever travel the world, that's what I will have: my jaguar and a couple of Am Std fat strats.

However, I've decided that I'm going to do some Fender collecting, as you may have noticed. :beerchug:

I've already had lessons bros. :bling:

I've payed my dues and then some. I've had to play everything live, from salsa to metal to punk to pop to classic rock to praise music.
