Well I quoted the wrong picture you posted lmao... Too bad I can't edit anything with a picture or video in it.... Or I'd fix it.
Once upon a time maybe....but not anymore.
Beat me to it. Marshalls are tweaked Fender Bassmans 5F6A and a different stock speaker voicing.
I don't think my Marshall Mode Four has been copied from or even has that much in common with any fender bassman amps.... But I'm no technical guru like you guys.
Unleash a brutal guitar assault with one of the most powerful amps on the planet.
Fender's first true metal amp, the Fender MH-500 Metalhead Guitar Amp delivers a whopping 550W into 2 ohms, 400W into 4 ohms. The solid state electronics and heavy-duty flight-case style enclosure make this a roadworthy addition to any rig. The 3-channel preamp offers a studio-pure Clean setting, Tight Drive for the ultimate rock tones and Loose Drive for those bottom-heavy drop tunings. 16 onboard effects, including the new GATE feature for noise-reduction or muting techniques, allow you to craft your heavy tone to hard rock, metal, punk, and beyond. Also has a professional speaker-emulated XLR line out with level control and ground lift. Includes 25 sets of earplugs, so you know it must be loud! Looking for the complete half or full stack? The optional MH-412 cabinets are the perfect choice to give voice to this beast! (See accessory box on this page.)

but honestly, if you have never played metal through a Fender -you are missing something magical and different to add to your pallet.
It's more sort of brilliant and present sounding with less low mid throat and a big ass bottom. -Just different enough to mix in with the other stuff to make an album sound massive.
Buying you a Fender shirt keep your eye on the mail.

I know this is somewhat an acknowledged "hang up". -sort of like me and PRS guitars, Crate Amps, etc etc

I mean you already own like a dozen guitars and amps that do a really similar thing right? Humbucker into a high gain amp right?
I suggest a Fender for your massive metal arsenal.
(btw my Engl has the fattest bottom I've ever heard anywhere.... It's like a truckload of Thick Latinas shaking what their momma gave them.... and then some!)
