I use Schallers, but once a month or so, I always re-tighten the nut on the strap if it is getting loose. I also use a few of those plastic disc-turny things.

I only trust Schallers- and put some loc tite on the strap nut to prevent it from coming loose. Between the loc tite and a leather strap end, the unit is never moving
