It sounds like some of us want trem-spaced and some of us want standard spaced to meet our needs. When one of us talks to MJ we should maybe let her now that if both are available there will be a larger number of total units sold so there for I am not sure if it will have a price difference or not. ya dig?
BTW, instead of us all pissing in the wind and throwing out this spec and that spec, shouldnt we possibly ask the "pickup winding master" (MJ) what to do to achive our overwound PAF sound??
Good P.O.V. I think its a good time to take this to MJ to figure out specs and the business end of this thang! It may turn out standard vs. trem or other ideas may not even be an issue???? We will not know specifics until we talk to her though.ratherdashing said:I totally agree with both points. Let's just stick to defining cosmetics + hardware needs (spacing, leads, etc) and leave the intricacies (magnet, wire gauge, etc) to the pros. We're lucky enough that they're even considering this idea ... I don't want us to seem too picky. Beggars can't be choosers after all.
I'm just looking forward to the opportunity to put a very unique and very special SD pickup in my guitar.
