So's my car, and so are many other professional tools I use. I still wash and polish my car, and clean my tools, which also happen to be highly delicate instruments.

I can warm up to many strat colors. Though, I'm am not a huge fans of bursts. Cherry and honey bursts I can do, but bursting to black should be outlawed. I think my friend's MIA Sambora signature is a great looking burst.

The most important thing to remember about a strat is that the look is dependent on the body color, pickguard color, and hardware.

Personally, I think strats wear red very well:

Vintage and Arctic White with a white 3 ply pickguard, black with a black 3 ply pickguard, and seafoam green with a pearloid pickguard.
